Benefits

The EAWOP membership is valid for either one or two years and begins in January each year. Applications are welcome at any time through the online procedure.

During membership members have online access to EAWOP's journals: European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology publishes six issues per year and Organizational Psychology Review publishes quarterly. EWOP InPractice is an open-access journal. 

Full Members enjoy all services provided by EAWOP. Full members can take part in all activities organized by EAWOP (e.g., Small Group Meetings, Co-Creation Initiatives, Practitioner Initiatives, Early Career Grants, WorkLab, Summer School) and fulfil any position in the association. Only full members and representatives of constituents are permitted to participate in and vote at General Assemblies.

Associate, Student and Senior Members enjoy many of the services provided by EAWOP, including the Newsletter, news mail, journal access and forums.

Members can also apply for EAWOP grants. 

Membership types

Full Member 

In order to become a Full Member one must:

• be a citizen or long-term resident of any European country;
• hold a university degree in psychology or have an equivalent qualification in psychology which is recognized by the EAWOP Assembly;
• be professionally and/or scientifically active in the field of W&O psychology.

Fee: €75/year.  From 2027, the annual fee will increase to  €120 (€200 instead of €240 for persons registering for the 2027 Congress)

Associate Member

In order to become an Associate Member one must:

• hold a university degree in psychology or another subject area;
• be professionally and/or scientifically active in a field that is recognized as relevant for W&O psychology.

Fee: €75/year.  From 2027, the annual fee will increase to  €120 (€200 instead of €240 for persons registering for the 2027 Congress)

Senior Member 

In order to become a Senior Member one must:

• be a Full Member;
• prove to be retired from his/her job and no longer work full time in the field.

Senior membership can be held for a maximum of four years.

Fee: €35/year.  From 2027, the annual fee will increase to  €60 (€100 instead of €120 for persons registering for the 2027 Congress)

Student member 

In order to become a Student Member one must:

• be an undergraduate or post graduate student in psychology in any European university;
• be scientifically active in the field of W&O psychology.

Student membership can be held for a maximum of four years.

Any person that has once been a Full Member cannot become a Student Member.

Fee: €35/year.  From 2027, the annual fee will increase to  €60 (€100 instead of €120 for persons registering for the 2027 Congress)
