Specialised Certificate
Actual status
The proposal presented by the task force was adopted by the EAWOP General Assembly in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in May 2009. In 2010, after minor changes, the proposal was accepted by EFPA. One of the change is the naming of the certificate: Specialised Certificate (this will be, from now on, the name of the Certificates issued in the various Specialised sectors of Psychology, such as Psychotherapy, Forensic Psychology, and so on) in W&O Psychology.
A pilot test aiming to explore implementation issues and assess feasibility of the Specialised Certificate in W&O Psychology is currently under examination. A more formal and operational document will have to be written. Such document will describe, among others things, the procedures to be used in the countries in which the system will be tested.
The aim is to start the pilot in the second half of 2011.
