Addressing Gender Inequality
17.10.2016
Call for papers of Group Processes and Intergroup Relations special issue “Addressing Gender Inequality"
The aim of this special issue is to provide an overview of the many ways in which gender inequality can, and has been, addressed and the consequences – both intended and unintended – that different approaches, interventions, and policies may have. We encourage submissions that examine approaches that combat a range of gender inequalities including workplace, social, political, and economic inequalities, and inequality in the family and other private spheres. These approaches can include specific interventions, such as those in organizations, as well as broad social movements, such as feminism. While much of this work has focused on areas in which women are under-represented or stigmatized, we also welcome submissions which focus on areas in which men may face inequality. Moreover, we encourage the submission of work that looks at intersectional issues
Submission deadline is the 1st of April 2017.
