Vacant positions at the TU Kaiserslautern

The Department of Business Studies and Economics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern is currently inviting applications for the following two positions:

Full Professorship (W3) in Microeconomics

The successful candidate has an internationally recognized research record with a proven ability to conduct high-quality research in the field of microeconomics shown by an outstanding track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Candidates are experienced and dedicated academic teachers. They are able and willing to collaborate in interdisciplinary research projects such as “CoVaCo”.
The professorship requires teaching for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs “Industrial Engineering and Management” and “Business Administration with Technical Qualification” as well as for programs of other faculties.

Assistant Professorship (W1) in Work and Organizational Psychology

The professorship requires teaching for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs “Industrial Engineering and Management” and “Business Administration with Technical Qualification” as well as for programs of other faculties (e.g., “Sozio-Informatik”). Candidates are expected to have both the ability and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation.
Candidates have preferably completed (or nearly completed) a PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology and  demonstrated  their  ability to  conduct  high-quality

research with publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Candidates are dedicated academic teachers with teaching experience. Along with the application documents, applicants should send a summary of previous teaching activities. The assistant professorship will initially be appointed for a period of three years and may be extended for an additional three years.

Candidates for both positions have to comply with the general prerequisites acc. to §
49 or § 54 Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (http://www.uni-  kl.de/universitaet/verwaltung/ha-1/ha1-rechtsvorschrift/). An active participation in the academic administration is expected.
