Well-being and Productivity in Metricised Employee Performance Systems
This Earmarked Scholarship project is aligned with a recently awarded Category 1 research grant. It offers you the opportunity to work with leading researchers and contribute to large projects of national significance.
The project explores the impact that the increasing use of digitised HR technologies, in particular metricised performance measurement and metric systems, are having on the workforce. It will generate a greater understanding of why, when and how these systems have a positive rather than a negative impact on employee motivation, well-being and performance. It aims to identify ways to help enhance organisations’ understanding and capability of these systems to ensure that they positively influence worker well-being and work culture.
