OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE OF THE COMPANY

Our client's platform facilitates the publication of jobs or internship positions for students and recently graduated profiles at European level. You’ll join a R&D team of researchers specialised in various fields of psychology to design various free tools to help students being more self-reflective about their career orientation and choice.
With the help of the team, you will lead your own project focusing on psychometric tools development and you’ll also collaborate on several other research projects.
You’ll easily access useful data and the engineering team will support you to create and design the best tools.

MISSIONS

The main mission will be to find a new way to build psychometric tools, using agile methodologies and 21st-century technologies: agile psychometrics.

  • Literature review on psychometric tools
  • Development and validation of psychometric tools
  • Writing of psychometric validity reports
  • Coordination of cultural translations of psychometric tools
  • Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team: Data scientists, data engineers, designers, product managers, programmers
  • Statistical analyses related to the work of the innovation pole
  • Support for the design and monitoring of recommendation and suggestion algorithms
  • Scientific publications on your project
  • Presentation of your work in scientific congresses

REQUIRED PROFILE

ACADEMIC SPHERE
Master or PhD in Psychology with a specialization in statistics, psychometrics, quantitative or differential
Proven experience of 5 years or more in psychometric tools development in the private sector ideally 

VITAL SPHERE
Expertise with classical test theory, equating and item response theory
Building predictive/descriptive analytics models
Qualitative methods: Longitudinal data analysis, Multilevel analysis, Structural equation Modeling
Experience working with, manipulating, and merging large/complex datasets
Effective written and oral communication skills to explain research and ideas to both specialist and non-specialist audiences
English proficiency – french not required

ORBITAL SPHERE (Bonus)
Latent class analysis
Experience with R, Python and/ or SQL
Sensitivity to counseling, vocational assessment, data science, and ethics

This job position is a part-time job (80%): Wednesday is a non-working day where you are free to develop other projects, consulting, teaching or just enjoying a better work-life balance! French laws (Heath-care, five weeks of paid holidays, etc..)
