University Assistant without doctorate - University of Graz

The Institute of Psychology is looking for an University Assistant without doctorate (30 hours a week; fixed-term employment for the period of 4 years; position to be filled as of July 1st 2019). 

Your duties

• Independent research on trust in human-robot collaboration in the work context
• Participation in the profile-building area „smart regulation”
• Publication in international journals
• Presentation of scientific results at national/international conferences
• Independent teaching of courses and holding of examinations in the field of work and organizational psychology
• Participation in organizational and administrative tasks and evaluation measures
• Participation in the development of an interaction laboratory for the research of human-robot collaborations
• Writing of a dissertation

Your profile
• Very well completed master’s or diploma degree in psychology, preferably in the field of work and organizational psychology
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
• Interest in work and organizational psychology research
• Interest in interdisciplinary research at the interface of psychology, philosophy and law
• Knowledge in planning, execution and analyses of experiments (desirable) 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team
• High personal motivation for academic excellence
• Independent and self-reliable way of working
• Organizational skills

Classification
Salary scheme of the Universitäten-KV (University Collective Agreement): B1
Minimum salary
The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 2148.40 gross/month. This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
