Org Solutions Design and Development Lead – Wroclaw

Detailed Description
The McKinsey Solutions Office (MSO) Services Design and Development  Lead for Organizational  Solutions is responsible for supporting the execution of Org Solutions services and will work jointly with the Global Services Leader and other product/solution leaders to identify, syndicate, and implement new services that drive impact at clients and grow our business.

Services refer to client workshops and “bootcamps” that support delivery of IOS core products. The qualified individual will support all aspects of services design and development, including idea generation, “creative brief” development and idea syndication, and implementation. This entails working with the Services leadership, IOS leadership, and Organization Practice leadership, as well as client service teams (CSTs), consultants, and clients. The ideal candidate is expected to develop subject matter expertise in workshop design and methodology and have a passion for at least one of the main functional areas in which we work: organizational design, organizational health, people analytics, etc. The SDD Lead will work directly with clients and teams to build reach/relevance and ensure impact of IOS services.
 
Key activities and responsibilities
• Collaborating with multiple Services project teams to help set the overall aspirations for a particular service, identify use cases and target clients, and develop the project plan
• Developing workshop modules that build client capabilities and engage clients in creative, innovative ways that lead to impact
• Problem-solving within client service teams and clients to help understand critical services needs and potential modules/activities (e.g., aspiration setting, organization redesign, talent “draft,” etc.)
• Coaching consultants on services, including how and when to use them
• Supporting strategic initiatives that involve the Services function (e.g., building and improving our toolset, including client materials, IT systems, etc.)
• Piloting client workshops and bootcamps designed and developed by Services
• Developing a process and the content for internal capability building sessions (e.g., with the Client Service Leaders)
• Building, codifying, and disseminating knowledge related to Services


Desired Skills
Education:
• University degree, ideally in organizational/industrial psychology, human resources, business, engineering, operations, economics or other technical discipline
• Strong academic record
• Graduate degree preferred but not required
• Language: English


Experience:
• 1-3 + years, preferably 1+ year in organizational behavior or workshop design and implementation


Skills:
• Creativity and innovation
• Ability to drive solid process management
• Effective multitasking
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptionally strong team player
• Previous experience in workshop design and development is preferred
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
